The first of the pubs mentioned has an ancient plaque on its façade that reads: "Music is a huge part of Dublins history and the home of traditional Irish music is here in the famous ODonoghues Pub." Despite the fact that there was never a stage in that pub, the fate of the musician Paul David Hewson, known to the whole world as BONO, began here.
